Return Policy

Clothing and essentials distributed to neighbors through Giving Blooms Foundation are free. For O.M.THRIFT purchases made through a marketplace, check that marketplace’s return policy.

What We Do

Giving Blooms Foundation is a Miami-Dade 501(c)(3) public charity. We collect donated clothing, hygiene products, household essentials, and other usable goods from the community and redistribute them — completely free — to neighbors facing homelessness, housing instability, and financial hardship.

We do not charge people who receive direct assistance. Some other reusable goods are offered through O.M.THRIFT, Giving Blooms Foundation’s resale program. Sales revenue helps support our charitable operations.

Free Distribution: No Returns or Refunds

The following applies to goods provided free through our direct assistance programs. For an O.M.THRIFT marketplace purchase, review that marketplace’s return and refund policy. For an in-person purchase question, contact us.

  • No returns — items are provided free; there is no purchase to return against.
  • No exchanges — recipients are welcome to reach out if an item is not suitable; we will do our best to assist.
  • No refunds — no money is charged for distributed goods, so no monetary refunds exist.

If you made a financial donation to Giving Blooms Foundation and have a question about that contribution, please contact us directly at [email protected].

Why This Policy

Our mission is to reduce waste and expand access to essential goods for community members in crisis. Charging for items — even a nominal fee — would create a barrier for the very people we are trying to serve.

By keeping distribution free, we ensure that families experiencing homelessness, job loss, medical hardship, or housing instability can access clothing, hygiene products, and household essentials without cost. This is central to our identity as a public charity and to the trust our community places in us.

Giving Blooms Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN: 41-2972103) registered with the Florida Division of Consumer Services (CH81560). Financial contributions made to support our work may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
