Bloom Boxes: Clothing and Essentials Assistance in Miami-Dade and Broward

Bloom Boxes bring donated clothing and everyday essentials together as practical support for neighbors facing hard times. Sorted with care and shared free of charge, each box is a simple, neighborly way to pass on what a family or individual needs most right now.

Bloom Box assistance in Miami-Dade and Broward is temporarily on hold because fiscal-year funding is exhausted. New requests are accepted for review against the existing waitlist. Placement and delivery are not guaranteed.

This short video shows how Giving Blooms Foundation brings donated clothing and everyday essentials together as Bloom Boxes — practical, neighborly support for Miami-Dade families and individuals facing hard times. It offers a quick look at how recovered goods are sorted and shared, and how the community can take part.

What Is a Bloom Box?

A box of care, sorted and shared

A Bloom Box is a collection of donated clothing and everyday essentials that Giving Blooms Foundation assembles and shares, free of charge, with neighbors facing homelessness, hunger, housing instability, or financial hardship. Each box is built from goods that have been recovered, sorted, and matched to a neighbor's sizes and needs.

Bloom Boxes are part of Giving Blooms' wider work of redistributing donated goods directly to families and shelters, while keeping usable items out of the landfill.
